Lotsa Helping Hands is an immediate way for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors to assist loved ones during their stay in the hospital and beyond. It is an easy-to-use, private group calendar that allows volunteers to help with tasks.
Keep family members and friends in the loop by setting up a webpage for the purpose of posting updates on a family member or friend's medical care and progress. Websites that are currently offering this interactive tool include www.CarePages.com, www.caringbridge.org, and www.thestatus.com. Many hospitals and cancer centers are also offering this option to patients.
